Irritable Bowel Syndrome - Diarrhea |

You may qualify if you are: - Male or Female
- Between the ages of 18 and 79
- Suffering with diarrhea predominate IBS for at least 6 months
- Experiencing moderate to severe abdominal pain.

Research study for people with Type II Diabetes. Clinical Trials of Texas, Inc. is currently conducting a research study of an investigational medication for men and women with type II diabetes. You may qualify if you are: - 18 Years or older
- Have Type II Diabetes
- Have an A1C between 7 and 10%
- History of Cardiovascular Problems (Stroke, Heart Attack, Peripheral Artery Disease, Stent Placement, etc)

Diabetes - Taking Insulin & Oral Medications? |
|
Are you a diabetic who is taking insulin & oral medication? Volunteers must be between the ages of 18 to 85 and currently taking insulin and oral medications for their diabetes. Compensation: up to $550 |

Type 2 Diabetes |
|
To qualify for this study, participants must: - be 18 - 80 years of age,
- experienceing uncontrolled blood sugar levels,
- be attempting to control blood sugars with diet & exercise, or Metformin (Glucophage),
- additional criteria may apply.

Osteoarthritis of the Knee |
|
To qualify you must: - be 35 years of age or older,
- have a diagnosis of OA in one or both knees,
- have used either oral or topical treatments for OA pain at least 15 out of the last 30 days,
- not have a diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis or Fibromyalgia

Celiac Disease |
|
You may qualify for the study if you: - Are between the ages of 18 and 75 and have been diagnosed with celiac disease
- Have biopsy proven celiac disease and positive serology test results
for 12 months or more before study entry - Have been on a gluten-free diet for 12 months or more before study entry
- Are still experiencing symptoms when exposed to gluten
- Have positive serum anti-tTG (IgA or IgG) or DGP (IgA or IgG) antibodies at screening
- Are willing to maintain your current diet for the duration of the study
- Satisfy other inclusion criteria

Type 1 Diabetes - Inhaled Insulin |
|
To qualify you must be: - 18 years or older,
- Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes for at least 1 year,
- Non-smoker, or have quit for at least 6 months,
- Taking a stable dose of long-acting insulin (Lantus, Levemir or Detemir)

Type 2 Diabetes - Inhaled Insulin |

To qualify you must be: - 18 years or older,
- Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes for at least 1 year,
- Non-smoker, or have quit for at least 6 months,
- Taking only Metformin, or 2 or more oral antidiabetic medications
Compensation: Up to $725 |

Epilepsy |
|
You may be eligible if you meet the following criteria: - Male or Female 6 years of age or older,
- Have a clinical diagnosis of epilepsy,
- Currently taking at least one antiepileptic medication,
- If female, must not be pregnant or breastfeeding,

Heart Attack |
|
There is a clinical research study evaluating an investigational antiplatelet medication for long term treatment in adults 50 years and older who suffered a heart attack 1 to 3 years ago and have at least one of the following risk factors: - Age 65 or older
- Diabetes mellitus requiring medication
- Documented history of a second prior MI
- Multi-vessel coronary artery disease
- Chronic non-end stage renal dysfunction

To pre-qualify for this study, patients must: - Be at least 18 years of age

- have a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder,

To qualify, you must: - Be 18-65 years of age,
- Experiencing symptoms of depression
- Not have a diagnosis of Bipolar disorder or Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

To qualify you must: - be 18 years of age or older,

Bacterial Vaginosis |
|
To qualify, you must: - Be female and between the ages of 18 and 45,
- Be experiencing symptoms of bacterial vaginosis (i.e. any vaginal discharge considered to be abnormal, and/or unpleasant vaginal odor,
- Have had at least 3 episodes of bacterial vaginosis in the past 12 months, including a current diagnosis,
- Additional criteria may apply.

- have heavy uterine bleeding associated with uterine fibroids,
- have regular menstrual cycles between 24 to 35 days,

Clinical Trials of Texas, Inc. and Dr. Tracy Schillerstrom are currently conducting a research study for boys and girls ages 7-17 years, testing the safety and effectiveness of investigational medication or placebo for childhood depression. This investigational medication is currently approved by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) to treat depression in adults. Compensation: Up to $400 |

This study is enrolling children and adolescents: - Between 7-17 years old
- Diagnosed with Tourette's Disorder
- Experiencing tic symptoms such as unwanted twitches, movements or sounds that disrupts normal activities or behavior,
- Without a history of pyschotic disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
